Pastellist, her main source of inspiration is nature, working from her own shots or her imagination. Isabelle reveals a natural and wild universe from which man is absent. She's looking for the landscape to fall in love with. The creation of her works is done with her fingers by superimposing colors in the form of sticks directly on a special pastel support. Softness, radiance, light, sometimes adding iridescent colors. The vast majority of pastels are realistic works. The desire to start from this base to move towards the abstract and improvisation. The objective is that her work does not systematically look like photography. The mountain with its supernatural landscapes; the ocean by the force of agitated and quivering waters; the interpretation of marshes and the marine evocation of waves. So much diversity that allows us to forge a bond. It is a complicity that Isabelle offers to share through her exhibitions. |
